The Asian Economic Panel (AEP) meeting was held at Keio University on September 15–16.
Presenter:Prof. Kiyota (Keio Univ.)
The papers presented at the meeting mainly focused on international economic issues, such as trade and the environment, trade in value added, and the relation between exports and employment. The proceedings of the AEP meeting will be edited and published in the journal Asian Economic Papers by MIT Press.
Coordinator:Prof. Kimura (Keio Univ.) and Prof. Woo (UC, Davis)
AEP invited over 40 economists from Asia and elsewhere around the world, including Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The meeting was a resounding success.
