International Workshop "Digital Innovation in Finance" was held on December 10 and 11, inviting Professor Stanley R. Pliska (University of Illinois at Chicago), Professor Wolfgang Karl Härdle (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Professor Tim Loughran (University of Norte Dame) and other prominent researchers from abroad.

The total number of participants was more than 200. Presentations at the workshop covered a wide range of fintech-related topics including crypto-currencies, text mining, machine learning, privacy preservation among others. Each presentation was followed by a vigorous exchange between the speaker and the audience.
